Maisie Moore
Maisie Moore is a Certified Babywearing Educator through the Center for Babywearing Studies, bringing over a decade of experience as a data scientist to her work with families. When she learned about the physiological benefits of carrying babies, she felt moved to make those benefits accessible — by helping mothers and caregivers find carriers that truly fit their bodies, their babies, and their daily lives. Her approach blends evidence-based knowledge with personalized guidance, so every family leaves with a carrier that works for them.

Meet the Creator
Kayla Cooper
Kayla Cooper is the founder of Bumps and Beyond: A Maternity & Motherhood Expo and the owner of Itty Bitty Ultrasounds, established in 2023. Her passion for medical imaging began years before she became a mom, starting as a veterinary technician in a neurological and emergency clinic before transitioning into diagnostic medical sonography.
She trained in Tampa, Florida, graduating as president of her class and completing extensive clinical experience in high risk maternal fetal medicine and pediatrics. With a background in general, vascular, and OB imaging, Kayla built a strong foundation rooted in both clinical excellence and compassionate care.
After moving to Knoxville to start a family, she opened her ultrasound studio while eight months pregnant, inspired by her own experience and a desire to create a more meaningful and supportive space for moms. The idea for the expo was born during her first pregnancy when she felt overwhelmed navigating available resources. She created it to bring everything moms need under one roof so no one feels alone in their journey.
Kayla continues to grow the expo through her own experiences in motherhood, including one of this year’s newest classes focused on transitioning from one to two babies. As she prepares to welcome her second baby girl this October, her business is also expanding to include fertility and OB diagnostic scans, many of which will be featured at this year’s expo.
